I agree that if they were at their best today, both Bolster and Botanical would have beaten City Streak, Jimmy. However – having looked at their races last night – both have round actions. So although Bolster has won on good-firm in the past, there was a sizable chance he would not be able to produce the heavy ground improvement shown last time out. Their odds were worth taking a chance they’d act, but I wasn’t at all surprised when both were non-runners.
