Good results Mark.
I’m delighted you didn’t enter TRF Goodwood Competition…….Thanks Nathan,
I’d have liked to enter your competition but…
Each day of Goodwood means 4 hour’s study time, then getting bets on, then an hour’s drive there, a day’s racing, then an hour’s drive back and then it starts again with four hours of study…
It’s hard finding any time Nathan. Something had to give, so didn’t bother too much with competitions this week…
And it hasn’t finished yet.
Studying for/going to Newbury tomorrow! No rest. Got to get on with it.

August 4, 2013 at 11:59 #447623Is Secret Gesture a good thing in the German Oaks at 6/4?
It doesn’t look the toughest field ever assembled.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
August 4, 2013 at 12:54 #447629Got big e/w on Danat al atheer at 33/1 surely a big price?

Decided to leave her alone due to the rank Oaks form and she was beaten by a 15/1 shot. This year’s Epsom Oaks must be one of the worst ever.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
August 5, 2013 at 11:40 #447691Secret Gesture would’ve been my bet in the Nassau had she terned up Steve. Lucky that. Beckett doesn’t seem to be in quite as good form as he was. May be that is something to do with it. Oaks form didn’t seem great at the time, especially as they seemed to go too quick early. First (Talent) and third (The Lark) are in my opinion flattered, coming from way back. Haven’t seen the German race, but still have faith Secret Gesture (raced more prominently than others at Epsom) will prove herself at least Group 2 class.

Danat Al Atheer was sweating and on her toes in the paddock yesterday Sam. Not what you want when a horse is going up in trip. Looking at her, doesn’t look 100% genuine now, also high head carriage and head gear. Ran ok though, not good enough.
Value Is EverythingAugust 5, 2013 at 12:00 #447693Two saver winners and an each way 3rd from bets in 4 races yesterday. But still a -40.5 points deficit.
One main bet just pipped a nose by the saver bet.
Still, can’t win every day.
