I like Producer in the Nmkt 3.30 but i`m guessing it is not value in your own book?

Did have 10/1 Estimate ante-post Softie, which helped me out of trouble at Royal Ascot. But yes, am still to hit full stide on the flat. Fewer bets than last year, so the length (in time) of losing runs is longer (as Gordie knows). Kicking myself for not backing Asatir at Salisbury. Worked out apart from Rockalong and Asatir every other horse liked to be held up for a late run. Backed Rockalong @ 4/1 (SP 2/1) and Lord Of The Shadows (good value despite the pace not likely to favour) yet did
not
back Asatir @ 25/1!!!! Asatir gets a soft lead out front and makes all from Rockalong (led the rest) in 2nd, with LOTS finishing fastest of all for 3rd.
On paper, there looks quite a bit of pace in the race, although Hannon provides most of it, so a lot depends on him. Librano, The Taj and Red Jazz’s best form to date have been when racing prominently. As we saw at Goodwood, Producer does not need to lead, but normally races near the front. He’s my idea of the second favourite. But a goodish pace will suit Pastoral Player, who was unlucky in a slowly run race last time, suggesting better to come. Hawkeyethenoo is consistent and on form so far is with the other two. Just feel he does not have the scope for further improvement. Ultrasonic on the other hand, needs to improve but is still fairly lightly raced and may do so. Again, a truly run race will be in his favour.
My 100% book:
Pastoral Player 5/2
, Producer 4/1 (48% the two favs combined), 9/2 Hawkeyethenoo,
6/1 Ultrasonic
, 17/2 Red Jazz, 14/1 Librano, 50/1 The Taj, 300/1 Instance, 500/1 Cocazza
