Was hanging on for someone to go 13/2, but got to get ready for Goodwood.
Value Is EverythingMay 26, 2013 at 13:48 #440821Ginge – periodically I take a peek to see if you get a winner, how many of your selections have you backed?
May 27, 2013 at 09:21 #440864That was unfortunate Ginge, went well Thurs./Fri. then gave it all back and some on Saturday
Did you see Big Bob leading Just The Judge in to the winners enclosure yesterday? Think he`s even bigger than last season, almost dwarfed the horse!!
Mind you from the grin on his face i would say he had a lumpy old bet on her, and to be fair, he was always very sweet on her from the start, and now she`s a Group 1 winner. Well done BobFrom what I gather Softie, Big Bob very nearly had his Barry Hills moment at Newmarket. I did not see the Irish race until a day or so later so missed him leading Just The Judge in. Roll-on the Coronation.
My "unfortunate" Saturday after a good thursday and friday was a kick in the teeth, with so many seconds. Stipulate probably should’ve won, but it was Swiss Spirit that is really difficult to take. Hampered and lost a deal of ground at the start, would’ve won easily without. Taken a few days off betting to recuperate.
Hoping my ante-post Oaks bet Secret Gesture does the bizz to get me back on track.

10 points @ 20/1 (b365) The Lark* (min 18/1)My run continues.
Two main bets finishing second and third to the second’s stable companion. Winner held up last in a possibly overly strongly run race. Secret Gesture doing by far the best of those ridden prominently. The Lark having to wait for a run and the winner coming wide and late. It may or may not have made a difference.Value Is EverythingMay 31, 2013 at 22:56 #441380Oaks
