I was disappointed, but it’s understandable Gord’s not thinking straight Colin. If it wasn’t for his family problems I’d be much more perturbed.
Wouldn’t be fair to get in to an arguement at this time.

I backed Tazahum because he was the only runner who actually likes to race up with the pace. Premio Loco was forced to make the running at Goodwood and may have to do the same here. So…

Value Is EverythingSeptember 28, 2012 at 12:19 #414399While she may win today, the record of May Hill and Fillies Mile winners in our Guineas is really quite shocking. History indicates that the Irish version offers greater optimism. I know you are on at fancy prices but the current prices would deserve one to be certified if they were accepted.
September 28, 2012 at 12:25 #414400Not only that it is not a stable to be backing in May. Look at Discourse and that other useless one this year. Once bitten twice shy for me Ginge!!!

Discourse was injured last September, 1000 Guineas her first race and ran as though amiss there too. Lyric Of Light got injured in the 1000 Guineas and neither filly has been seen since. So how something can be described as "useless" after being injured in ONE race this season, is beyond me Joni.
The stable of Al Zarooni hasn’t been around long and you seem to have a short memory. His filly Blue Bunting won the 1000 Guineas in 2011, surely that race should also be taken in to account?

Without wishing to annoy TAPK again. I am not saying Certify will win the Guineas, am saying the 16/1 currently available with Ladbrokes is worth taking. ie To be a good bet at 16/1 a horse only needs to have a better than 6% chance of winning. In my opinion she should be around 9/1 (10%) right now. And will be a lot shorter if she wins the Fillies mile impressively (odds-on) today.
So even with the May Hill not being historically a good trial, 16/1 is too big at the time of writing.
There’s also the possibility of laying her after the race today at a much shorter price.

12/1 is still far too big so…Another:

They were useless in the Guineas Ginge as Certify will be.
