Pastoral Player
is still 33/1 with Bet365 Ginge!
Very strange a bookmaker would only let you have £1.10p on mind!
I have been knocked back to a minimum Fiver before but never less than that and certainly not to Pennies!June 14, 2012 at 22:22 #408126Pastoral Player

I have been knocked back to a minimum Fiver before but never less than that and certainly not to Pennies!I wish Stan James let me have a fiver on @ 66/1 Gord. Am sure all bookmakers don’t treat all punters the same.
Presume your fiver is over the phone, Stan James no longer allow me a telephone account Gord. They do allow an internet account because it is somehow easier for them to keep tabs on my bets. It’s very difficult if not impossible for me to get a bet on TO WIN any more than around £100 with them. On the other hand (from what I remember) unlike some other bookmakers they’ve always allowed me something on.You missed the "betting without" Gord.
B365 have Pastoral Player at 33/1WITH
Black Caviar. My 20/1 Pastoral Player bet is 20/1 betting
WITHOUT
Black Caviar.

Queen Anne Stakes
20 points @ 10/1 (C) Frankel to win by 10 lengths or more*.
12 points @ 7/2 (C) Frankel to win by 7 lengths or more*.(Sort of Saver)
Betting Without Frankel:
22 points @ 6/4 (B365) ExcelebrationValue Is EverythingJune 15, 2012 at 12:50 #408157Cheers for the vote of confidence Ginge! Watch him fly!!!!
"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
June 15, 2012 at 13:11 #408159If Frankel wins by 10 or more lengths and Excelebration finishes 2nd then
I win all three bets
.
If Frankel only wins by between 7 and 9.75 lengths thenI break even
even if Excelebration isn’t 2nd. If he is 2nd
I pick that up too
.
If Frankel wins by less than 7 lengths and Excelebration finishes 2ndI break even
.
If for some reason Frankel doesn’t win, it’ll probably be Excelebration who does, in which caseI break even
.
As you say Joni, It’s highly likely So You Think will go for the Prince Of Wales and Strong Suit won’t stay a stiffish mile on soft ground, even if he "acts" on it / turns up. Frankel is already a 10 lengths+ better horse than all the rest. It could be a weak affair. It really could be a two horse race, so just Excelebration has to run slightly below form and Frankel wins by a long way. And on soft ground distances are usually extended too. 10/1 and 7/2 are no brainer bets Joni! There is a chance Queally will ease him down and win by a reduced distance, but with the criticism of Frankel not being stepped up in trip and Black Caviar racing this week… Connections will probably want Frankel to show how good he is.

With soft ground likely, managed to lay a bit back on Bated Breath @ 7.6, but it’s gone now so can’t put it up.

If only Frankel knew of your sarcasm Gord, he’d ask for that photograph back. It’s you who needs the lip chain.

61 points @ 5/2 (b365) Cirrus Des Aigles*Think I’ve made a mistake, doubt if Cirrus will run judged on the favourite and third fav being backed and the French horse lengthening. So have laid Cirrus back at a bit of a loss (win or lose) @ 4/1. But can’t put it up as the price is not "available", so the 61 points stands as far as this thread is concerned.
