I was somewhat surprised that the Timeform selections didn’t have her in the 1-2-3 yet put Finial in at third spot, despite her having finished 2 1/2 lengths behind Taaqah when they made their debuts. That seemed puzzling to me anyway. A big rule 4 but still a good winner to have!

It did surprise me a little too Steve. To be fair, Timeform did have Taaqah as a "Horse In Focus" (ones to look out for) and ended up "top rated" too. Apologies for the aftertiming, but I was in the Grandstand when they announced Sulaalaat a non runner and made a dash to top up. Unusually found one bookmaker out on his own, offering 7/2 (next best seemed to be 5/2)! Looked like a rick to me.

3 mains and 2 savers.Tomorrow looks very tricky, Newbury ground could end up anything between good-firm and heavy. So I don’t anticipate many bets, especially not tonight.
Done Music Master because although not certain to act if it’s soft/heavy – @ 4/1 looks worth taking the chance.
