You’re on a desperate run Ginge, hope you get a few winners tomorrow, 3 for you to consider:
Coral Eclipse- I have 10s EW about Kingston Hill who will love the rain softened ground and must shorten up further!
Old Newton – Quiz Mistress (on EW at 20 and 16) could go very close here now that hes dropped in grade! Mighty Yar would have run well but didn’t want the rain

I have accounts where every horse I back is immediately reduced in price; bookmakers using my accounts to tip them off which horses they’ve got wrong – without needing to lay too much. It’s often within seconds!

Have they not offered you the odds compilers job yet?……..

I bet they all sit there in the office twiddling their thumbs, sipping coffee, texting, having a good old bit of banter when all of a sudden you log in.

    ‘GUYS, GUYS, here’s on!!!’
    ‘Who’?
    ‘Genius Ginger’!
    ‘What’s he doing?’
    ‘WAIT!!!’
    ‘He’s doing 20 points on horse A’
‘That means horse a has a 45.3% chance of winning’
‘Quick we must change our odds, before he posts on TRF’
    ‘Hang on’
    ‘What?
    ‘He’s putting 6 points on horse B’
    ‘Jesus that’s got no chance’
‘No, every horse has a percentage chance of winning, shorten it now’
‘Whoa, he’s going in again, on horse C this time’
    ‘Ah boll0cks we’ve got a 98% under-round again’
‘ok, shorten the bloody lot and suspend betting’
‘Do you think we should ban the twit’?
‘No, don’t be daft he’s on a losing run’
‘Then why do we shorten everything he bets’
‘So that he thinks he gets the value and comes back next week’

It’s difficult for me to find losing thousnds of pounds funny right now Nathan, but well tried. Made me smile anyway. :) Am sure there are many good judges betting in the evening that individual bookmakers use to tip them off what’s over-priced/going to be backed. So I am in no way unique. They don’t bother shortening my savers, just the bets to win a significant sum. That’s when am not restricted to a smaller bet.

Stan and Victor used to do the same thing for a few months before finally closing accounts; so hope Sky and Corals don’t go the same way. But as you imply, if continuing like it has the last few weeks – they won’t be worrying about me much longer.

With the question about Sandown’s going, won’t be putting bets up tonight anyway.

Ginge, good to see you crack a smile mate.
You don’t need me to tell you but keep the faith in what you do, in the long run value will poke it’s head back in front and you are the master at finding it. form is temporary, what you have is class with all your winning threads and class is permanent unlike your ginger hair when the sun hits it…….

Bit of deja vu here Ginge. If i remember rightly you had a pretty awful run this time last year until the second day of Glorious Goodwood, when you turned it round completely and made up all of the lost ground. Bit of a way to go till then though. :?

Haven’t looked at the Old Newton, Quiz Mistress does look back to her best. Don’t be put off by her look in the paddock, small and always overshadowed by rivals.

It isn’t exactly "rain softened" Gdc, proper good-firm as far as I can see. Hope you get a run for your money with 10/1 each way Kingston Hill. Not sure I’d do anything each way when not a certain starter (doubling the stake doubles liability). But I’ve had that discussion with Gord before now. tbh I think the ground is very similar to Epsom. However, KH might need softer for the added stmina test at this trip. That said, 10/1 still an excellent price, good luck.

Less about being the same as last year Softie. It might not be coincidence the poor run coincided with the World Cup. If I remember rightly had problems four years ago too. Trying to study while the football is on and some elementary mistakes  . Fingers and everything else crossed for Goodwood; if having half as good a Glorious week as last year I’ll be happy.

Was going to have a bet this morning in the next at Sandown, but couldn’t see who’s going to lead. Might be one to back the leader after 50 yrds.

Keep your chin up Gingertipster. It’ll come right in the end if you keep your head and keep doing the right things.

You can start by lumping on Sky Lantern next week, Nathan Hughes says it’s a certainty. If it loses you know who to hunt down.

If you’ve got a Bet Victor account take the 10/1 with them, as Sole Power could be a non-runner and he’s 8’s with Laddies, 16’s with VC.
