There was a Rule 4 to both Hot Streak and Ted Spread, but got to be pleased. Two main bet wins and two savers from 5 races. The other race Frankie managed to get away with hampering all his rivals. Ted looked a picture in the paddock, so went in again @ 9/1 on course. Could not believe he was the outsider of the lot!

Hot Streak travelled really well, encouraging signs to think he’ll be just as good on a firmer surface at Royal Ascot’s Kings Stand.

I think i’ll go single on Tiger Cliff @ 33/1, Pale Mimosa at 20/1, and i’d say i’ve now relegated Brown Panther to a saver, so if he wins i will buy a voodoo doll with ginger hair.

Brown Panther impressive today. Although I don’t see the form as "improving" exactly, had the run of things more than most but did it with a bit in hand, so could yet do so. Leading Light is the obvious favourite and there’s not much between 4 or 5 others behind him. Looks a better quality Gold Cup than last year.
Tiger Cliff ran a little disappointingly, though not enough to completely ruin chances at Ascot.
