May 23, 2014 at 17:09 #479853Can’t believe I wasn’t on the winner the form being beat 1 1/2 lengths to honour bound was strong and likes the testing ground, hindsight
Well done on the other 2 races
May 23, 2014 at 18:32 #479865Typical, I felt ill all day and never got round to having a bet. Check the results and find the winners were pretty much jumping out of the newspaper right into your bank account.
Wait till tomorrow and there will probably be a bloodbath with the fancied ones getting carved up.
Good Irish racing this weekend and plenty big names involved.
Make money folks!
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
May 23, 2014 at 19:02 #479869Ginge..I’ve never ever seen David Simcock look so disappointed when Luck of the Game got touched off by Sebastian Beach at Newmarket last Thursday evening. Owned by Michael Tabor I think they had expected to win with him and he is a fantastic looker (Luck of the Game that is )
Running at Haydock in the 2.00 he’s very short around 13/8 but I think he’s going to win this one…
Parsley looks interesting in the 1st at Goodwood for Hannon as well.
I’ve done them separately and made up 2 x trebles with Observational and Barley Mow.Be Lucky
Jac
So near and yet so far
Luck of the Game lived up to his name.Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 23, 2014 at 19:27 #479875Ginge..I’ve never ever seen David Simcock look so disappointed when Luck of the Game got touched off by Sebastian Beach at Newmarket last Thursday evening. Parsley went in like the good thing you said it was, and a much better price than this morning too! Observational just about hung on for us. Well done with those.
After seeing him today, I’d give Luck Of The Game a swerve in future if I were you. Probably has a lot of talent, just doesn’t want to show it on the racecourse. A morning glory from a betting owner, unlikely to ever represent value imo.

Totally agree Ginge thanks for that observation, he looked the part but when it came to the crunch he didn’t deliver.
He can consider himself well and truly swerved Jac

I’ve had days like that myself Steve.
If you’re betting at Haydock, do not take any notice of the official going report. Time the first two races and compare to Racing Post Standard times. Suspect it will be well on the soft side of good.
Irish 2000 looks a cracker.
