Here’s hoping Steve.
You deserve a big priced winner after Sporting Gesture last year.It was Secret Gesture and I should have been on each way really. She hasn’t done much since, here’s hoping Gosden’s runner progresses better. Thanks
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Ah yes "Secret".
"Sporting" was a wonderful old handicapper, still winning flat races at the age of 12.Value Is EverythingMay 7, 2014 at 19:24 #4783262:15 Chester

A new low for Corals.
Wanted to have a bet on a horse tomorrow @ 5/1.
Wasn’t even a big bet for me.
Now, sometimes they only let me have £10 on.
Sometimes it’s only £5.
Occasionally they’ll allow the whole bet!
Occasionally they’ll refuse the bet full stop.
So am used to being knocked back.
Tonight, I was offerd £1 @ 5/1.I laughed and said I’d take it.
Only to be told they had to take £5 out of my bank as it is the minimum the bank will allow.Sorry Corals, you are not going to take more out of my bank than you’re willing to lay.

What’s really scandalous is with Paddy Power you can deposit a minimum of £5 but can only withdraw a minimum of £10

I’d have thought PP were doing punters a favour only having a minimum deposit of £5 instead of much more with some bookmakers. Would the £10 withdraw minimum be any worse if the deposit minimum were £10 or £25?
Punters might want the minimum "Withdraw" to be less, but I don’t see £10 as that bad to be honest Andrew.
The problem I have here is that I wanted to put on far more than Corals supposed "
min
imum telephone bet", but was told the
max
imum bet they’d allow is a fraction of their so called "
min
imum". With this bet it was Corals that were limiting my
max
imum bet to £1, yet wanted to take five times more out of my bank account than they’d allow me to bet!
Suspect they limit customers to ridiculous amounts so they can say they don’t "close" accounts. Still, I now have a better price than Corals would give me anyway.

56 points @ 7/2 (Sportsbook) Casual Smile* (min 100/30)Not often I’d opt for a maiden but those with wins look nowt special and the neck defeat behind Taghrooda looks a lot better than it did and the stable is going well.
I had picked out Here Comes When today to oppose early "tissue" fav Abseil from the Stoute stable but by time the odds actually came out the cat was largely out of the bag with that one.
Century was put up by Timeform on their preview but after his Racing Post debacle I couldn’t have him today but I never got around to taking him on, as I felt Somewhat had a dodgy look as well.
I’ll probably be opposing the fav in the Derby Trial tomorrow with Munjaz who I expect to come forward and he’s 7/1 as I write this.
Have a good weekend punting Mark.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
May 9, 2014 at 16:29 #478486Good luck to you too Steve.
Must admit was a little nervous of backing both Casual and Sudden. Could be a lot of rain and wouldn’t want it heavy. But prices too good to ignore.
