Another:
2 points @ 47/1 (betfair) Aquilonius* (min 28/1)(£2 available)Aquilonius should not be good enough, but has 10f speed and because of a lack of prominent runners may be able to dictate a slow pace. Mutual Regard might be more prominent than some, Argent Knight and Arch Villain may have more speed for a sprint finish.
Value Is EverythingSeptember 3, 2013 at 16:02 #450156Should’ve been at Goodwood today, but did not want to leave the house in a power cut. Still, with Lyn Valley and Aquilonius winning – a good day’s work.
Not a bad result/write up, although I do say so myself.
1st Aquilonius SP 16/1 (backed at 43/1 and 47/1)
2nd Mutual Respect
3rd Arch Villain
Exacta would’ve paid £270.80 for those who like that sort of thing.+102.25 points profit on Lyn Valley’s race.
-68 points deficit in Captain Midnight’s.
+340.1 points profit on Aquilonius’s race.
+374.35 points profit on the day.

Now that comment concerns me Ginge,it suggests to me that you are gambling with money that really should be used for paying your utility bills. For someone with your strike rate you should have been able to pay your Electricity bill before you get cut off. That concerns me that you are betting like Gordon Taylor!! What I will say is dont bet with money that should be used for household bills, bet with only what you can afford, you should really have a betting bank.I have also noticed you have slipped back into your old ways of backing virtually every horse in the race, you just cant help yourself and it concerns me that you could becoming a compulsive gambler. Please dont take this the wrong way as I’m genuinely concerned about your obsessive behaviour.

Thanks for your concern Gord, but it was only a joke!
Sorry it wasn’t obvious enough for you.Out in the countryside, my house often gets power cuts. Nothing at all to do with bills which are always paid immediately.
But I wonder if you knew that anyway, hence changing the quote’s smilie from to .
Could it be just another excuse to take a swipe at the way I bet Gord?
If restricting myself to fewer selections in races – then I wouldn’t be coming up with the individual 40+/1 winners. The numbers of and prices of these winners more than makes up for selecting more horses per race on occasions when "value" arises in multiple horses. You really should look at my percentage profit on stakes (incl. all bets) compared to yours Gord.
Although I do not have a seperate "bank" for betting, I do in effect have a "bank" for my bets. Eeach "point" is a certain percentage of my savings. So the more money in my bank accounts the more each point is worth. If my savings got below a certain figure I’d stop betting, but as it is – can’t believe how well things are going. My Bank accounts being well in the black.

62 points @ 2/1 (Sky) An Chulainn* (min 7/4)This is one I really like the look of too at the price, really don’t get why it’s drifted from 7/4 to 2/1 (on PP), would have thought it’d be a 6/4 or 5/4 shot by now. Is the price because of the potential of the newcomers with them being well-bred, expensive and from top jockeys/stables?
I realise I may have answered my own question there, but still, with none of the other top 3 in the market being backed I find it odd that the favourite isn’t shorter-priced given her confirmed form.
