Is this woman drunk or is she naturally bitchy and irritating? The other three may as well go home then gob on legs can have the whole show to herself. As she clearly loves the sound of her own voice she would undoubtedly carry on regardless.
PLEASE ATR don’t have her on again.
February 21, 2016 at 12:01 #1234666Hasn’t she been doing a lot of her racing in France now, not seen many interviews of her to be honest, i think the last one on ATR i saw when she talked down one of her horses when interviewed, i can vaguely remember her quote ‘He has not got a chance taking on far superior horses today’ The horse won at 33/1, re-interview ‘He did that nicely don’t you think, well worth the trip’ but she rambled on and the interviewer had to make an excuse to go to another camera

February 21, 2016 at 12:14 #1234667I don’t mind who is on the show, everyone has a different personality but why oh why hasn’t there been talk on any of yesterdays racing?
A little snippet of today’s grade 2 action would be nice as well. I turned off 5 minutes ago which may be a bit premature but they could have at least put something in the first hour.
February 21, 2016 at 12:18 #1234668I know someone who had a horse in her stable over here in a recent season, they had a 2yo newcomer, told me months in advance it would win at ‘good odds’. The horse opened at around 8/1 and went out to 25/1 in the minutes before the off. The horse pissed up.
February 21, 2016 at 12:44 #1234671I had to switch off after 20 minutes, she came across as an absolute horror, she’ll surely not be back on.
Yeah Chivers, decent stuff on at Naas today, no world beaters, but nonetheless worth mentioning, and some good action yesterday. Instead we get Hayley Turner, and Gay Kelleway
February 21, 2016 at 13:01 #1234675Hayley a class act, as usual. But Gay Kelleway… I saw Chris Cook looking on with both interest and impending horror as she told the tale of the gambling owner.
February 21, 2016 at 13:51 #1234681Gay came across as someone with a massive chip on her shoulder and also a bit of a hatred for males as members of the human race as if Females are some kind of super being and males just here holding them back.
She was adamant there’s not 1 single bad female trainer about, ignoring Chris trying to reason that there probably is a few through the laws of probability. I for one will be only too happy if i never see her onscreen again.February 21, 2016 at 16:26 #1234686Really starting to warm to Hayley she comes across very well. As for Gay, lets hope that’s the last time shes invited on a show like the Sunday forum. Really disliked the way she conducted herself.
February 23, 2016 at 19:05 #1234899Didn’t watch this week’s programme, but from 2:25 in the following video tells you all you need to know about her – vile individual, and she certainly does not come across in this video as arrogant as she was on Sunday – quite the opposite in fact.
Vaguely remember her being involved with a tipster called Kevin Moorcroft back in the early ’90s training out of his Charnwood Stables in Newmarket. It was then taken over by Ron Dawson, a convicted con man, for whom she also trained.
February 23, 2016 at 22:58 #1234941A rerun of the bare-faced cheek of Dermot Browne putting himself up as some kind of saviour if only the JC had done a deal.
I’ll grant that he did a masterfully criminal job of scuppering Browne’s Gazette in the Champion Hurdle (4/6 – I need not tell you I’d had 16s and all rates down) B@stard

I should add they backed the favourite of the race really hard just before the off, to cover themselves but more importantly to push the price of their one out. Cheeky b***ards know how to make the most of best odds guaranteed! To be fair this is probably all common practise in the game.
February 24, 2016 at 18:42 #1235056You cant knock her ability to lay one out, whatever she is like personality-wise, and didn’t she have a big fallout with the gambler/tipster who owned her yard a few years back, because she hadn’t let him know about one she had laid out? I respect her commitment to keeping inside info “inside”. Why not? The people that pay the bills deserve the best price they can get. The trends are there for people to spot even if she peddles misinformation on the TV or websites.
She was buying money again today in the 4.25 – didn’t have to be a great horse in a bad race, but it was by Dark Angel so thought it was worth a pop – was 7s when I spotted it last night and went off 11/4, won easily.
Know a guy who used to have a horse with her, he always thought she was a miserable cow, but when he took his WIFE to the yard Gay couldn’t have been nicer!

She’s not called gay for nothing you know…….

February 24, 2016 at 22:21 #1235066Hayley Turner has a very sensible attitude to women in racing. She recognises that women aren’t as strong physically. Yet every time she mentioned it you could see that Gay was ready to burst. She appears to have a very poor view of men. Wasn’t it a few years ago she was given a free betting account worth £2000 pounds by Victor Chandler with the idea of her giving them information through her bets as to whether her horse was laid out etc
