Entries…………

Was hoping to wait till Final Decs for this, especially as only of one my fairly long shortlist actually got an entry
That was Duffle Coat, who ran so well in it last year, and he’s just a horse I really like. Definitely a target horse of theirs, and he’ll be of interest early season. Stablemate The Goffer will always be of interest, and at his best capable of getting involved here too. Good chance though his season will be geared towards Cross Country
One outsider I really like is Must Be Obeyed, and as her price should hold, I’ll certainly look at her if declared
Thecompanysergeant was always going to be near the head of the market, and justifiably so. He’s just headed in the market by Nurbugring, who’s been a talking horse for this for months. His chance is obvious
As obvious as it is though, I actually prefer his stablemate Common Practice. Price looks completely wrong at 20’s, and I’ve had an early bet. Only a smaller one at this stage, as he could very easily end up in something like The Connacht Hotel Handicap. If I see any movement for this, and/or he doesn’t get an entry for that race, I’d be happy to have a proper swing at him Antepost 20’s
I’ll be following Spanish Harlem again this year, and he’s another with a serious chance.
Edit – Added Three Card Brag
July 20, 2025 at 21:27 #1736543Had another look, and that 25’s too big for Three Card Brag.
Just couldn’t justify two at this stage, so although Common Practice the bigger fancy, it just makes sense to wait and see if he gets another entry. If I miss the 20’s, so be it
Edit – Missed the 20’s Common Practice
Can’t bet any more, but that 66’s on Gaelic Arc looks a bit generous. Interesting if he sneaks in
Edit – Duffle Coat added
Common Practice 16’s
Duffle Coat 33’s EW6Pls/40’s
Three Card Brag 25’sJuly 21, 2025 at 17:31 #1736568THECOMPANYSARGENT 8/1
Looks the plan for a long time won his beginners chase here to expect a big run
July 21, 2025 at 21:30 #1736578Three card brag ran a cracker in the national , didn’t stay but as long as it didn’t leave a mark then he should run a big race here
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
July 24, 2025 at 09:28 #1736632I’ve taken the 8-1 on Thecompanysergeant as well. The other horses I’m interested in are Jazzy Matty and Jesse Evans
July 24, 2025 at 10:19 #1736635Thecompanysergeant 8-1 ew 4 places
July 30, 2025 at 10:48 #1737169VtC, I’ll follow you in with Three Card Brag at 16-1, and I’m also betting Ashdale Bob, who’s currently 22-1
I was going to bet Duffle Coat or Shecouldbeanything too, but one Elliot horse is enough
July 30, 2025 at 11:00 #1737173Staying loyal to Duffle Coat ew 6 places and added Jazzy Matty 15s win only
July 30, 2025 at 15:48 #1737225I want to bet just the two in this, but my word what a race, and it’s not been easy
Jesse Evans running here rather than the hurdle is eyecatching, but I have went with two free bets (I’ll be boosting obviously) and I’m with Sea Music 33-1 and Gaelic Arc 66-1 with both 6plcs
July 30, 2025 at 17:46 #1737246I’ve split the Mullins runners Adamantly Chosen and Olympic Man at 20-1 and 16-1 win only
I wanted an outsider in this as well, and I came down on Senecia at 66-1 ew with 5 pls
July 30, 2025 at 17:58 #1737250I’m going with ews on three horses who are dodgy jumpers, in Ballybrit’s biggest handicap chase. What could possibly go wrong? At least they will all stay to the line, if they still have jockeys on.
Sea Music- actually jumped well when loose last time and passed the line in front. Got form with Blizzard of Oz who I like.
Olympic Man- be an Olympic effort if Danny can get him round in one piece but the talent is there.
Zenta- jumped respectably in most of her runs but horribly last time. I hope she was in season or something, or I’m throwing away money, but she has good albeit dusty hurdle form.
Didn’t back Adamantly Chosen, in fact I think it might be the first time I have dumped him. I can see the point of him running here- trip and ground and a right handed course are perfect. But he’s let me down a few times in the past. Braced to watch him win now.
July 30, 2025 at 18:01 #1737251The money for the fav is telling , he’s been near some good horses however I’m stuck with three card brag , hoping he burns out front and jumps then daft
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
July 30, 2025 at 18:03 #1737252Buddy One for me, missed the bigger prices but backed him last week in his flat win.
July 30, 2025 at 18:41 #1737256Zenta e/w 5 places.
July 30, 2025 at 18:49 #1737260I was cheering on Jesse Evans when my lot were out of the running, what a horse! But whoever gets the stand side rail up the hill often hangs on.
