Looking at group D in the world cup and Germany against Australia to start off unit 2. I think the Germans will look at this game as the easier fixture with the other teams in the group being Serbia and Ghana so will possibly look for goals tonight and attack from the kick off.

Alot was made about how poor England were against the USA but I didn’t think they played too badly and a little more composure in-front of goal and a better final ball from Lennon and England could of got a few more goals, I think tonight they will be out to make amends and will win by at least a couple.

Swiftly moving on to the action at Ascot tomorrow with Harbinger looking nailed on to be featuring at the business end, in my mind by far the best horse in the race and should go off at odds on but then again I thought Canford would be odds on in the St James Palace stakes.

You look to be doing well and it reads as if you certainly know your cricket so there could be some good betting chances with the Aussie’s around.

Great stuff Nathan, really good read this thread.
It’s not only Ladbrokes who make blunders on their odds, the other day Stan James went 5/4 Brazil HT Brazil FT against the Ivory Coast. They also went 10/11 Brazil to win both halves
I think some of these companies are so hell bent on giving a price on every market they are making a few mistakes. Unfortunately, the mistakes aren’t in our favour really as the 5/4 Brazil HT Brazil FT was the general price across every bookie. So Brazil to win both halves should have been a tad higher, perhaps 13/8 or 7/4 but almost certainly not 10/11.
Anyway, keep posting your selections as it’s working so far and I’m seriously thinking of giving it a go in another sport where I have a bit of success.

Good luck to you if you are going to give it a bash with your sports. I wouldn’t normally recommended betting with rises in stakes but I’ve only given myself £100 to play with so no real harm to be done really.

looks a good option today at Warwick, she had a big reputation going into the Guineas and I believe the ground and draw that day was a disadvantage to her. 2nd fav Dever Dream has impressed me on the last two runs but that was at a far lower class and has not faced anything near Seta’s standard.

I like the look of Holland and with Robben back in the side I think they will be too strong for Slovakia who despite beating Italy didn’t impress enough overall in their group.
Somerset in the last 3 twenty/20 matches have looked more the side I thought they would be from the start and the latest win over Sussex will have done much to improve the confidence. Glamorgan have done OK and 20/20 can produce some shock results but man for man Somerset look the much better side.

Zoffany runs at Leopardstown tonight and looking at his pedigree the extra furlong should help his cause. Won his first two races with ease before a 6th place finish in the Coventry which was no disgrace against very good opposition and the camp seemingly low on confidence in those early days at Royal Ascot. A few of the previews rate the Johnstone horse as a strong challenger after winning well last time but I like Zoffany who has experienced the course before aswell.
