Thanks for that. Yes I did spend considerable time searching francegalop already to no avail. I have now found what I’m after thanks to the other link you sent me. Cheers!

UM & OLe wherever you are…?!
‘Darma’ was due to run at SC tomorrow – but she’s had another delay…
Back deferred Darma
He will have to wait to see the runway for Aga Khan Darma, originally committed to St. Cloud Saturday. The filly had a small problem that delayed his return. She had imposed on his debut last year, making a big impression, but had returned lame, victim of a crack in a shot earlier.Peslier is riding ‘Polytechnicien’ in the Muget at 2.40 SC tomoz – Barzalona was up last time – due to Pes having an arm problemo…
Looks a good lil’ race…with Gey Grey and ‘Elusive Wave’ etc…

A bit un-sporting, no?
Sorry for the absence – hectic week.
A brace of G1s this weekend, including the Ganay (1. Cutlass Bay, 2. Chinchon, 3. Shalanaya) plus the Muguet tomorrow…I am all a-tingle.

Last week I saw someone mention an ATR interview with ARD where he discussed Darma, but I can’t find it. Anyone know where to access it? Was Darma going to run in the Prix Basse Pointe, Zenjah? You must post the translated race report afterwards for UM. With horses named T’as D’beaux Yeux and Toi Et Moi, maybe "You will beat Me by a Beautiful Eye."
May 1, 2010 at 08:45 #293235I liked the vision conjured up of a horse in cap…
Am looking forward to the races tomorrow – there’s some interesting comments on ‘Cutlass’ made by Simon Crisford of Godolphin
here: http://www.attheraces.com/index.aspxThere’s one with C-H-M too…can’t see the ARD piece on there…
Yes ‘Darma’ was entered there (over 2,100m) – would explain why you noted that she hadn’t been entered for the Irish race.
I’ll see what translation gems there are…you’ve done a prety good job there yourself Ole!

That was me. I don’t think there is a video on their website. He was being interviewed about Rosinara and AdeRD simply said not to forget Darma as she was at least as good.
Clearly fragile though.
May 1, 2010 at 14:15 #293305Am looking forward to the ‘Imprudence’ – pitty there’s no ‘Dolled Up’ there…
The ‘Djebel’ should be interesting if only to see how a 100/1 shot for Newmarket gets on!
Thank you
May 1, 2010 at 19:20 #293376Some good racing tomorrow – anyone any thoughts on it?
Personally think that Kasbah Bliss has been lucky to beat Bannaby in the past and as Blek beat the latter on his season return and has a particularly good record in staying races I think he is a horse on the up – from a decent yard for this type of race (also had Pointilliste and Absolute Power in recent years). Hoping for 5/1 or so about him in the morning and with Crastus up he should be able to take advantage of any weaknesses in Kasbah Bliss.
It’s generally against my nature to oppose a top class looking horse like Cutlass Bay but in Shalanaya I think there’s a potentially top filly – Mikel Delzangles had the big winner today and he and Lemaire again team up with this filly who took the Prix De L’Opera on Arc weekend last year before running a blinder when finishing like a train after chasing two runaway early leaders to finish fourth. I don’t expect to get any of the Ziturf forecast 25/1 but she should have a good shot over a course and distance she’s already been successful over.
Martin
Edit: Confusing myself about the Japan race.
May 2, 2010 at 17:04 #293676Irish Stamp, I owe you a good drink mate after backing Blek having read your post. Thanks.
May 2, 2010 at 20:10 #293765No worries – been drawn towards Soberania in the Prix Allez France at Chantilly. She ran well up the rail when hampered in the Prix Vermeille and has moved yards to a domestic trainer since. Prior to that she’d been running in decent races in Germany, the Vermeille runner-up (Plumania) re-opposes in this event though I feel that the drop back in trip is more likely to favour Soberania than Plumania, hopefully she’ll perform well first time out.
Ziturf have her in at 27.3 as a guide price which would be nice and the trainer has had placings from his last 4 or 5 runners so is in good form.
May 2, 2010 at 20:19 #293769How good was that Ganay winner?
Is he the real deal?
May 2, 2010 at 20:39 #293772He is the real deal.
May 2, 2010 at 20:41 #293773He certainly looks like it. So good to see M. Fabre back at the top. The 2nd ran well too
May 2, 2010 at 20:47 #293775I think Cutlass Bay is the real deal – personally I’m a massive fan of the Aga Khan filly Daryakana who is due back at the end of this month. The two are likely to meet in the Grand Prix De Saint-Cloud
May 2, 2010 at 21:12 #293778So Irish Stamp are you on my Daryakana for the arc bandwagon 25/1 is now
May 2, 2010 at 21:21 #293786prix allez france : plumania should go close
May 2, 2010 at 22:51 #293814I’ve been on the band wagon since her first Group victory Darren
