Does anyone know if there is a site which gives French cards plus the form figures on the actual page?

May be doing something wrong but on France Galop you appear to have to click on the name to get the form?

I prefer this one. This link should take you to today’s Prix des Tourelles with the result at the top.

    http://www.pferdewetten.de/race_detail.php?date=01092012&race_evt=28372&race_num=6

it’s a German site and the latest form is on the left side, i.e. read from left to right. Click on the horse’s name you’ll get all it’s form.

Disappointing that last years Canadian Intl winner Sarah Lynx only finished 3rd…

…you’ll soon pick up bits of German :)
See what you think, there may be others…

    You could also try http://www.onextwo.de

Click on the race, then on the horse and you will get information about its last 10 starts or so. Plus if you register with them, you can bet directly on the French Tote.

The form figures on FG are on the card – they’re the 1p 2p 3c etc. on the site.

You need to click on the actual horse to view each race in detail though.

    Thanks for the help.

Been a bit lazy since I got Equidia and need to make the most of it. Having a look a some of the backend 2yo races would seem a fair place to start. Are there any maidens in particular thar have proved to be consistently influential?

Do you have Equidia in the UK? If so how do you get it?

Thanks in advance for the help!

As you can probably gather I haven’t been able to watch as much I would have liked but from what I have seen Equidia is light years ahead of ATR and Racing UK. Not sure what the relative funding is like but I am guessing the French don’t pay £20/per month extra.

It would be interesting to know the thoughts of a French contributor regarding the relative merits.

Yesterday I watched the first two races (for unraced 2yo’s) at Longchamp and they were notable for some excellent shots from the paddock and of the horses going down. There is an on-course presence but the presenters don’t appear to take centre stage as seems to be norm in the UK.

Having given it closer scrutiny France Galop is also much better than our sites. Excellent form and breeding coverage.

Correct, despite the fact that we have two dedicated racing channels here that cost viewers over £40 a month we really are poorly served by them.
We have the corrupt picture delay on ATR, amazing that this hasn’t received an investigation from someone.

As for RUK despite being described as the leader in it’s field, the lack of paddock shots and horses going to post is appalling even when covering only one meeting.
They prefer to show people talking rubbish or even showing replays of races you have already just seen between races.

Compare this to the way racing is covered in France or Australia.

Would check out the 1m Maiden’s for unraced 2yo’s at Saint-Cloud – they should be starting around now but the Aga Khan and Wildenstein family often introduce a nice horse or two in these (Ziyarid and Beauty Parlour would be two from the past couple of years).
