YouTube is crap now they’ve deleted most races, are there any free sites where you can search for and watch lots of races from past years?

attheraces if you click form reserch then the name of a horse they have any race they cover that the horse ran in.
racing uk do something similar
you only pay for live racing.December 30, 2009 at 18:51 #266511It’s a moot point that ‘racing uk do something similar’. Racing UK’s replays are only available free for one week, after which a subscription is required to access their archive database.
December 30, 2009 at 19:17 #266516Is that why I ‘enrolled’ the other day with RUK but now can’t get to watch anything? I’m sure that, eventually I’ll have to subscribe to one of them, the problem being that I’d still only get to see 50% of that days racing. Given that ATR are really good for watching free replays I’d probably have to subscribe to RUK, but it seems unfair given that I’ve had so much free viewing from ATR that I feel a certain loyalty towards them.

I am able to access the RUK archive (only 2009 at the moment) and I don’t pay anything. I subscribed a long time ago (no fee) and I’m able to view previous races.
Perhaps they’ve stopped new members from using this facility for free?
December 30, 2009 at 22:31 #266559I’ve seen it mentioned that if you have an account with Bet365 you can access past races, but the time I visited them a few months ago I couldn’t see how to do it.
I suspect you may be wanting races from wayback, so try Pathe.
December 31, 2009 at 01:46 #266605Bet365 do have all races from the 1st of January 2009 onwards. All free too which they should be commended for.
It’s in the ‘extra’ part of the site. The link is on the right hand side of the main page. When in the ‘extra’ section it’s located in ‘Results & Archive’.
December 31, 2009 at 01:55 #266607Thanks Pajo, I’ll have another try.

Well that’s weird I watch on Betfair if I have had a bet so don’t subscribe to either RUK or ATR although I have am a member and can log in to watch replays. When the changes came at RUK they sent emails out saying you had to register again if you wanted to keep watching…but I thought naaaaaaaaaaa! I can still log in and watch free replays as normal….Not saying your wrong but maybe a loophole in the system because I never reapplied

Rob, I’ve never subscribed to RUK, yet have access to all their races dating back to the 1st Jan 2009. Not sure if this is the same thing as their ‘archive database’ your on about. Like Fist says it may just be a loophole or somefink…
December 31, 2009 at 06:47 #266614You can register for the free archive without having to be a subscriber of the channel.
