Don’t worry, I’m not promoting some scam!
I’ve recently been given Raceform’s Racehorse Record Flat 2007 as a free gift when buying something else.
Fortunately, I’ve already got the information in other things – so I don’t need it.
Therefore, if there’s enough interest, I’d like to have a one-day punting competition. Every entrant has £100 and states what he/she would do with that money on a specified date.
The person with the most money at the end of the day wins the book!
I’ll private-message the winner and arrange for postage etc.
So post a reply here if you’re interested and we’ll arrange the date.
Thanks.

February 24, 2008 at 14:24 #146101Well David, upto now you’re in line for an easy walk-over.
I’ll leave it open for a bit longer… but not much.
February 24, 2008 at 14:27 #146102go on i’ll join in – if it’s as you typed it and 100 to invest over 24hrs could be investing – all sorts of accas and any-to-come bets rolling along culminating in a bank job on pittsburgh in the ice hockey at midnight
February 24, 2008 at 14:30 #146104Why not but if I happen to win you give the prize to someone needy

February 24, 2008 at 15:29 #146116Yes put me forward for it
Is it a maiden selling handicap?
February 24, 2008 at 20:31 #146221Reason – best thing to do is just run the competition and I’ll put up some thread near the date to drum up interest.
Send me a PM.February 25, 2008 at 20:51 #146487Go on then. I’m game.
February 25, 2008 at 21:04 #146492count me in thanks
February 25, 2008 at 21:15 #146495Sorry folks, I’ve made a right mess of this.
Didn’t think the proposed competition had generated much interest, so I’ve promised it to someone.
I’ll do better next time.
