After a year on the sidelines Yourelikemefrank returns in the opener at Wolves tomorrow.
At his best this would be tough, very rare do you get as competitive a 0-75 as this so a finish in the first half dozen after so much time off would be encouraging.
Plan would be a couple of runs on the AWT (avoiding Lingers as we feel the downhill stretch may put a bit too much pressure on his knee) before embarking on a turf campaign.
Red Danger Angel will run ina bumper this week, has entries at Bangor,Southwell & Ludlow and Tunza will be kept going for now. Although his form is uninspiring he did at least settle better at Kempton on Thursday.
February 28, 2012 at 12:52 #393993He needed the run quite badly but didn’t shape too badly.
RDA goes to Southwell.
March 1, 2012 at 06:47 #394277Very pleased with Red Danger Angels’ 2nd placed finish under the excellent Lucy Alexander
March 17, 2012 at 06:49 #397378First go over 6f for Frank on Thursday and he was a creditable 4th.
Should hopefully be spot on now and as he has shown he retains ability we should have some more fun with him.RDA and Tunza should be out later on in the week.
March 23, 2012 at 11:20 #398135Tunza retired after his run on Wednesday.
RDA goes to Hexham on Sunday.
March 26, 2012 at 11:32 #398452Very frustrating that she gurgled and choked as she was about to make her move at the bottom of the hill.
A tongue tie will be tried at home and depending how that goes she could end up having to have a soft palate op which would rule her out for a couple of months.
Not a particular problem as she would need a break before going hurdling anyway.Frank likely to go to Wolves on Friday.
May 25, 2012 at 01:08 #405376Has his first run on turf for a while at Musselburgh today with Graham Lee on board.
May 31, 2012 at 23:58 #406209A little bit unlucky to be only beaten two lengths last week.
Goes back to Musselburgh on Saturday for the consolation race for the Scottish Sprint Cup and certainly can’t grumble about the prize money on offer.
Hopefully he can nick a bit of it.
