Always like a bet in this race, though can be tricky, as I tend to view it a bit of a trial for The Paddy Power. The two I like here both entered for that race.

Main hope Saturday is Battle It Out, and I’ll also be with Riaan.

Battle It Out really caught the eye last time, getting a relatively easy time of it, before unseating at the last. Think he should step up at some point. Riaan one of my horses to follow this year, and I’m sure he lands a decent prize at some point

Of the WPMs runners i thought the likeliest winner over this trip was Aime Desjy.

Arguably HDS is as suited and off 145 is also a contender but the rest look horses out for a run for the start of National preps. I realise he ran over 3m4 too and will probably be tried again over a trip, but i think the intermediate 2 1/2 is more his bag.

Off 135 i think AD is worth chancing and O’Keeffe has a decent strike rate when riding chasers for WPM.

Think Adamantly Chosen will go for the Topham this year Jack but other than that I agree with you.
Cliff horse Arctic Bresil at 22s ew for me.

Hard luck Jack I think he pretty much sat on the fence.
Arctic Bresil and I are splitting up. He didn’t jump or travel a yard and he looks like he hates racing
