Form study or trainer form?

    I was wondering if anyone on here concentrates solely on trainer form/trends when backing a horse rather than studying the form of the horses?

    After all trainers win races not horses, right?

    I’m talking about the smaller trainers who may only have 70 or 80 runners a year and trying to catch them when their in form.

    What are your thoughts?
