I’ve found in another forum like this one that shows me as a registered user, if I keep popping back and forth to visit the forum, it lists me as a guest each time. So if you do it again and again (just for sad fun) you can clock up quite a number of guests!
So Gamble, the guests are probably you :-)

    Gone “walkabout”

I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highways

Purwell hit the red spot – I have gone walkabout and taken a step back after Paul Ostermeier retreated from this fly house in spectacular fashion. Very grateful he came back out of his ‘retirement’ to pen his, well let’s call them thunder thoughts, as they woke up this sleepy little parish and made them realise that damn flies were not the only thing in life. Paul is a very special poster, and someone I think we should look up to. With more people like Paul about ( he was no saint mind ) we could all sleep a bit safer in our minds.

I am sitting by a big window, in my vest and pants and letting some cool air waft in and marvelling at mother nature unsettling the clouds of their burdens and spotting the rain droplets falling in their thousands out of the big O and right down on London Town and so cleaning the smokey gas-filled air that helps fuel all the dirty dealing the bankbrokeciti typos get up to in their sharp armadillo suits.

The purpose of %man was as a key to unlock his posts and never to hide him away.

Dedicated to the bigger than big, big O

Dont take the words too literally :mail: – it’s symbolic of a leaving town

I ditched Sadie ol’ Shaw’s version when Captain Potato and the Oddballs brought their recent one out, with far better lyrics. It’s an allegorical tale about a mountain people that all lived stringed together on one side of a mountain and the elders and all the scientific folk with their long beards and books told everyone that going around to the other side would bring sudden death. A few didn’t like the restrictions and told others that the elders were keeping the benefits of the hidden side to themselves and to, break free of their strings, and come with them to Shangri La. The oddballs cut their strings one night and others were encouraged to flee with them, and they all edged around the bend and the ledge got narrower and narrower but they all followed like sheep and one by one they dropped to their death. Captain Potato who lead the group bounced a lot of the way down and miraculously survived, although lost a lot of his skin, and brought out Puppet on a string in memory of the Oddballs who had the balls but not much else.

    The big unanswered question is
….Was this Big O’s very last number on death row ? A message he sung in his death throes to all he left behind ?

Probably not. It’s just a forum, you romanticize too much, gamble

I dont think I romanticize enough. The world as we know it was built on it – God help us ! it’s such a fine heady illogical thing, and way overdone – just look at the stuffed planet floor to ceiling – sardine tin full – way overdone no room for shadows- but without it we are doomed to a a life as a simple fish, searching for just food, as far as I know the species. It impinges on almost everything – Science, religion, and philosophy, but not nuclear war or bankrobeciti. Best to stay with it – an inspirational force.
