I hope you have put a warning on that one, Arazi.
Certainly not for those of a sensitive nature.

April 14, 2008 at 06:23 #157720Oh my – it’s YOU! Arazi12!
Thankyou for putting these videos up! I’ve had a great time watching all the great horses of the late 80s to early 90s including Generous, Rodrigo de Triano, Dayjur, Marling, Zilzal, Nashwan and Salsabil.
I have learnt plenty from these. Do they continue into the mid 90s?
May 5, 2009 at 01:52 #225707Don’t suppose you have any Becher Chases? I’ve been looking all over for them on the net, but have had no luck.
I’ve been wanting to see the 1998 Becher for the last 10 years.
May 5, 2009 at 02:01 #225711who was the winner?

Good call, i’d love to see the 2000 Becher win again of Young Kenny.

Good call, i’d love to see the 2000 Becher win again of Young Kenny.
And of course who wouldn’t want to see the 2003 Becher? The most eventful in it’s history and the more pulsating finish ever!
June 25, 2009 at 21:36 #236356Hi
I came across this website mentioned a couple of months ago, elsewhere. It might have a few races that people haven’t otherwise seen.
I’ve just watched the Golden Jubilee for the first time.
Most of the commentaries seem to be in French. The fall of Tatenen in the Arkle is quite funny – "Ooh, la la la la la."
June 25, 2009 at 21:54 #236358Thanks for that Gerald; first time I’ve seen this years Gold Cup because I was watching through my fingers as usual and then found that I hadn’t recorded it. There was one fence [third last I think] that Denman, Neptune Collonges and Kauto Star jumped in unison before Kauto scooted away from them. It’s even more exciting in French! Oooh la la indeed.

December 30, 2009 at 22:55 #266563Quite possibly the easiest of all Lester Piggott’s classic wins and most probably the easiest Guineas winner ever – 1,000 or 2,000.

Judge for yourself.

There’s quite a lot of great footage appearing again on youtube. Here’s some links to the main channel’s I’ve come across. Might as well enjoy these races before they probably get removed by the Racing UK people again!
March 2, 2011 at 12:21 #342931God willing the contributions from the likes of Bluemanc43 don’t get pulled, seeing as they appear to originate from the loader’s own supply of stuff taped from
The ITV Seven
and the like (rather than, say, prigged straight off RUK).
That’s the hope, anyway – very much enjoyed seeing the likes of Doncaster from the thick end of three decades ago.
A further addition to the cannon is this source of Northern and Yorkshire Area Point-to-Point footage, should it interest. Hearing the late Doug Fraser in action at Hornby Castle was especially poignant;
