I’m surprised no one has drawn Darren’s attention to Sue Montgomery’s article in the Bloodstock section of Horse and Hound (okay I know it’s only one page, but still a section nevertheless).

Using Fiepes Shuffle as the centre point it talks about his incredibly versatile career and other aspects of his pedigree and German breeding.

Very good article which includes an action shot taken at Kempton when he won the Desert Orchid. Can be found on page 38 if you are interested.

Thanks for mentioning this!! I don’t read Horse and Hound, so I was unaware of the article. I’ll buy 2 copies tomorrow – one for me, one for Christian.

What with this, and a photo of me with Flipper in the Observer – it’s all getting a bit showbizzy!!! Mind you, it’s about time Flipper became famous!!
