Sad news in a way, but good to hear that Flint River is retiring with a decent life to look forward to. I do hope the Firm are going to replace him ~ it’s been fun following him around the gaffs these last few years. More please!

Would just echo earlier statements made by previous contributors on the thread. I must admit, I feared the worst when I saw a thread started in his honour so I’m glad he retires in one piece.
You sure there’s not a winning swansong left in him over 7f at Southwell from a mark of 57? :cheesy:
I’ve enjoyed following his progress on here & on the track, so can guess how much pleaseure he’s given you as owners.

I think that the vast majority of owners do to be fair.

A cracking horse over the years and although it is a shame you couldn’t tease one more win out of him, that defeat of Mufreh won’t be forgotten in a hurry :)
It must have been great to be involved with such a consistent and successful horse. Good luck for his retirement.
I’m not a big fan of the flat, but I always had a soft spot for Flint River. May he have a long & happy retirement.
