Something has got to be done to get some sort of logic and spread into the fixture list One day virtually nothing the next a glut and within a few miles of each other. Also the full season needs to be used not just a couple of months in the middle when it all goes mad. Last but not least stop these AW weather fixtures in the grass season particularly Lingfield and Southwell both of which have grass courses. Ideally get rid of Arena/Northern altogather
July 26, 2013 at 08:06 #446505I just spent 3 to 4 hours updating my speed figures for yesterday’s
meetings, which would be impossible if I had a job
.I am not saying that most of yesterday’s races were dross, 8 flat meetings and not one improver to put into my tracker, the only horse I would look at next time was
Clubland
who ran in the 6.45 Doncaster, he has to follow up

And you want to get rid of 15 racecourses for what reason?
These include some of the biggest days in the racing calendar, like the Ladbrokes St Leger Festival, Coral Welsh National, Betfred Midlands Grand National, John Smith’s Northumberland Plate and the National Spirit Hurdle why do you want these got rid of?
