And the good news is that TAPK was Non runner money back for the 2011 poster of the year.

When I first became a member of this forum, I almost got banned myself when getting in to a dual with Fist. Almost left of my own free will. Wasn’t used to his ways. It did get easier once I knew how to take him, but still had a bout of Fisticuffs now and again. He had a lot of interesting stuff to say, especially when talking about his friend Jonjo O’Neil. One of very few with an ear to that yard.
Also had a few run-ins with The Ante-Post King, or was it "The Ego King"? TAPK knew his own faults, he recently had a time away from TRF and I contacted him by PM with a few home truths. He agreed with it all, but could not change. I made a point in the TRF awards that we’d never hear the last of it if TAPK (in front at that point) won Best Poster. There was at least one tactical vote (mine). Just could not face the prospect, do feel a little guilty, sorry TAPK. Behind that TAPK facarde there is a good guy trying to get out. Sure it is the same with Fist.

However, with both I did find myself not posting my thoughts sometimes, because I knew they’d either find something to get in to a fight about, or turn it in to a competition, or turn abusive.

So can see why Corm had to take action.

This is the best forum around by furlongs.

There is nothing wrong with strong opinions. I do though, wish some would not continue old disputes / feelings in to other threads.

    What happens in one thread,
    should stay in that thread.

So outstanding that because Trabolgan carried 11:12 to win the Hennessey and Denman did the same Fist thought that meant they were rated the same?

Both made interesting points from time to time, but the sheer volume of tat meant it was the right decision, in my humble opinion.

I for one were sick to the back teeth of reading how one or both of the two had "spotted" the likes of Canford Cliffs, Binocular and Zarkava first. Like my children arguing over whom was holding a toy first. "Look-at-me", egostistical bullshitting of the top order.

Exactly my thoughts on the matter.

Being new to this scene I never met the pair of them though reading some of their earlier offerings they seem quite compatible with each other, not unlike many a great husband and wife partnership. I couldn’t quite work out who wore the trousers though.

Personally, I’m opposed to censorship but rather than for people to be banned wouldn’t it be easier just to obliterate each and every time someone posted an offensive post? But maybe that requires more moderators than posters.

I fully agree with Mr Wilson when he says we’re all grown men and women though.
