Congratulations to Gerald on his second place but, more importantly, very, very many thanks for being so helpful with the scoring, it was very much appreciated.
I’ll be in touch with the winners to arrange the prizes.
August 15, 2010 at 21:45 #312989Well done Chelts. 97 pts is incredible, I didn’t realise I was less than a point behind in the Naps comp, think I went with a long shot in the last round when could of gone for something shorter.

Thanks Cormack and Gerald for your work and time in running this comp and bet365 for sponsoring it.
Roll on the jumps comp.

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
August 16, 2010 at 17:56 #313105Cormack, there was a final standing for the ‘Big Races’ section, underneath the one you’ve taken. Seven Towers won.
August 16, 2010 at 19:02 #313120Fancy that, a veteran jumper winning a prestigious flat contest. Nobody could be more shocked than I am.
Many thanks for all the work put in by Cormack and Gerald and to bet365 for the sponsorship, I’ll do my best to relieve them of some more cash with my free bets!
Also well done to the other winners and thanks to everyone who took part and made me keep up to the task once Pat Smullen sent me into the lead!
It’s made a big change to my summer betting, if it wasn’t for the bet365 tipping competition I probably wouldn’t have had more than a couple of bets during June and July but I’ve really enjoyed the challenge and made a healthy four figure profit backing my competition selections to fairly modest stakes into the bargain.
It’s just as well the competition finished when it did as I’ve had a dire run of form since Galway.
Again, much thanks to everyone involved
My first official selection as World Champion (I still can’t believe I’ve just typed that!) has to be Profound Beauty in The Yorkshire OaksRoll on The NH competition!!
August 16, 2010 at 20:25 #313132I’ll revise that Gerald –
Good to hear you’ve been making real profits on the back of your selections CS. I just wish I’d been following them with hard cash myself.
