I’m looking forward to this. Conny Hill wining would be the best result for racing as a whole but the closer we’re getting to the race, the more the doubts are creeping in. It’s a big ask but it was less than a year ago when he swept Lossiemouth aside. That was after his physical issues so, for me, he is the right favourite.

Fascinating betting market, too. Judging by the current blues and pinks on Oddschecker, Anzadam might go off favourite. Don’t think many of us expected that. 😳

“It was less than a year ago when he swept Lossiemouth aside.”

I am not sure he did sweep her aside. He was all out to beat her after she had been under the pump from the word go. Burdett Road wasn’t beaten by that far either – and that was after he tried to take the last hurdle with him.

HDLG – we won’t find out tomorrow. The New Lion is too slow to get Constitution Hill off the bridle.

I don’t see it as a negative that Anzadam is running here.
Obviously Lossiemouth has more form to go off but Anzadam would be at least number 2. Mullins said he wanted to learn more about Lossiemouth but against that opposition what did he learn? Will know a helluva lot more about Anzadam after tomorrow

The New Lion is definitely a pile of number two.

Yeah Glad , as JP stood in the Cheltenham winners enclosure he must have been thinking what a waste of money the Lion was …..

Money doesn’t matter to JP. If it did, he wouldn’t be wasting the entry fees on Inothewayurthinkin every race except Cheltenham.

On a more realistic level which hurdle is the Hill likely to fall at …. Are the bookies offering any odds …
