Is it just me or is this whole FIFA saga bordering on the insane. Sepp Blatter is about to begin his fourth term in office as the most powerful man in football via an election were he is the only canditate.
As it is his position is totally untenable yet he is sitting pretty for another term. <!– s:? –>

<!– s:? –>The whole of FIFA is in turmoil. Surely something must be done by outside powers to remove the cancers such as Blatter that our destroying the game.
The whole situation really is unbelievable. Thinking about it gives me a sick feeling and I worry about the future of the game.
And some say racing is bent and corrupt to the core, look at Blatter, FIFA and its cronies!! <!– s:( –>

<!– s:( –>June 1, 2011 at 15:05 #358216Blatter is in denial and is far too power hungry to give up his crown. During his mealy mouthed press conference speech the other day he referred to his FIFA underlings as his "government"

The old man is clearly delusional.
The FA, with the backing of the SFA, put forward a motion that the election for FIFA presidency should be postponed.
Naturally, the self serving members, who would have too much to lose, gave the British short shrift, and stood firmly behind their corrupt leader.

When there are allegations of bribery and corruption, why are FIFA looking in to this? Why aren’t the Police at the head of any investigation?
