    BLACKCURRANT (form 121)
    Win.
could go well again if on song.
Good position to dominate from stall 3.
Although you can win from anywhere at this track just depends on the pace that is set.
    CAPTAIN RYAN
    MAKYON
    both each way
CR close up second last time
M down a mile in ratings and trainer as ever optimistic about his chance here.

Seven minutes a slightly better warning time than the three minutes of the first race…..

Singsong lady wins by a gnat’s whisker.
Nice to be on the right side of the winning line after a 33/1 selection in the previous race was beaten into second place. Would usually have had that as an each way but felt he had a very good chance of getting home first.

Running on second to an impressive winner last time. Suffered trouble in running too so improvement most likely now and advantage over most here with benefit of a good run to build on.
Every chance here with normal improvement.
    Win
    And
    Place.
Eight runners here so good chance of winning and strong chance of getting at least into the places.

    A CASE OF YOU
    Win
    is a real globetrotter.
His main rival for this race Logo Hunter has withdrawn.
He doesn’t have to give even a stone to the other three runners.
Which makes this course and distance winner big odds on to win easily.
I’m trying to find reasons for him to be beat but there are none.
Triple figure rating and his last race was for a million dollars at the breeders cup.
It’s a pity about the skinny odds but they are fair. The main danger is a false pace but it will up to the selection to make all and put this race to bed. With four runners the draw is not as important as usual.
Should win by three lengths. But should at least win. Last win was at the arc meeting. Prix d’Abbeye.

    DREAM CHASER
    SUNLINE
    ONLY THE BRAVE
    ALL EACH WAY
All at the top of the weights and this amateur jockey race should see one or two of the top weights see out the trip if they go off at the wrong pace….
Fergal O’Brien has DS well down the ratings and daughter rides having had a winner in the last month. SUNLINE comes fresh from Mick Channon to a new yard. Only the brave is another interesting new arrival.
    Headgear applied to DC.
    Round up
Best of the day was the first race at Southwell where BRANDY STATION 16/1-14s won easily…
Closely followed by MAYON SON paid four places at 40s.at Dundalk’s opener
SINGSONG LADY was first past the post but the race was awarded to JEZEBEL but under bookmakers rules was still deemed a winner.
A CASE OF YOU was a bloodless winner up against three horses unlikely to race outside of handicaps and win by 3.5 lengths over six furlongs. Object tomorrow is to land a tricast….. From an aimed for few selections
    given at longer notice.
Hoping for a clear daily profit dropping down to four rounds a week targeting three or four races……

Enjoys a nice low draw runs off a mark of 74 in a class three for the first time since winning here in October 2020.
Some very good placed runs from poor draws in the past, has all the chances to place here.

    Navas TWO
    Win
Is highly progressive and has two recent wins under the belt in class three and looks to step up here in this class two.on a four timer here and also budding to make it five wins from last six runs…
Handicapper may have taken hold though.
    SUNSHINE WARRIOR
    Each way
Has dropped back to the winning level he was at when scoring here in a class two in Nov 2020 and can go close as the highest Drawn lowest weighted horse in the race in stall 11
Just the sort of quality race where this runner could strike hard and late from a wide outside draw if there is a pace collapse.
Huge price. Risky proposition none the less.
