Has there been a rift between F & G ?, can’t see any booked Godolphin rides for Fallon
August 30, 2014 at 20:31 #489526Mr Shifty has upset someone.
August 31, 2014 at 08:35 #489540Oh, SBS seems to have put him on one today
September 5, 2014 at 20:21 #489811You might be onto something here. Despite riding a winner for bin Suroor this week, there have been a number of occasions when he has been overlooked.
Fallon is in Turkey this weekend, Suroor has 4 runners, Fallon is on none of them, not even having a ride in 2 of the races.September 5, 2014 at 20:29 #489812Maybe Fallon was just a stop-gap. Even ignoring his many undesirable traits and awful character flaws, Fallon is one of the oldest jockeys on the circuit. He’d hardly be a long-term stable jockey solution.
September 5, 2014 at 21:31 #489823I am quite surprised there has been no press comment about this so far as I know. Fallon’s rides for SBS have certainly dried up in recent weeks, although his latest was a winner at Brighton earlier this week. In my view Fallon has ridden to a consistent high standard throughout the year and it’s puzzling why he seems to be currently out of favour.
September 6, 2014 at 21:17 #489901Godolphin won both the Group 2 and 3 races with Windhoek and Shuruq in Turkey. Both were ridden by Barzalona of all people.
Fallon was at the meeting and has ridden Windhoek in his previous 4 races. Very odd indeed. - AuthorPosts
