After two games of the European Under 21 Championship, and with one game still to play, England have crashed out losing 1-0 to Italy and more worryingly losing 3-1 to Norway.
Are we taking these Under 21 tournaments seriously enough? and as a result of this is it hindering the senior squads chances?
Phil Jones, Oxlaide Chamberlin, Jack Wilshere, Jack Rodwell and Danny Wellbeck all could have been selected however were ineligible due to playing in Friendlies for the senior squad (or in Wilshere’s case injured but he’d have been in senior squad to). Surely all the above mentioned would be better playing for the U21s and maybe getting to a Championship Semi Final or Final rather than playing in pointless Friendlies?
Am I in the minority here, does anyone think Zaha, Ince, Henderson and co are enough for us to have went further than Group Stage?

These days no kid is allowed out or don’t want to as they have 150 cartoon channels and computer which loads the games instantly not the half hour compact disk on the Amstrad I had. I still think there is toooooo many Johnny foreigners in our game a limit to 5 allowed per team per match would possibly suffice.

It’s very worrying for the future of English football and maybe we will look back at the Gerrards, lampard, beckham’s etc with some fondness in a few years as that might be the best we get for quite a number of years.
