Not necessarily for the win, but I like Faylaq here. Been fairly consistent until last run, where I don’t think he was ever getting put into it. Should sneak in, and looks the type who could nab a place
Far too many others, and I’ll try my best not to latch on to anything else until Final Decs

August 23, 2025 at 10:28 #1738646Well folks, i’ve been away for a while….just haven’t had the time to keep my betting going as much with 2 kids. I’ve still kept an eye on things as racing is my favourite thing, and this forum was a big part of keeping the “juices flowing” so to speak. Here’s hoping i’ll get back to it properly now or soon.
I’ve backed Siege of Troy in this. I started looking at this race on Thursday AM on the way home from Greece and she was 25/33s or so. I didn’t get involved as she wasn’t jocked up and i wanted to let things settle- probably a little low on confidence to pull the trigger early as i haven’t been punting much.
So i missed the bigger price, but i’ve got an ok one now.
The first reason i looked at the horse was i had been looking at Roheryns other kiddo in Defiantly earlier that day. This is a lovely staying pedigree.
Never raced over further than 1m4 and shaping like it’s certainly worth a go.
Racing off 99 she was 4.75ls behind Ethical Diamond (96) she’s now 5pd better off and with a 7pd claimer. The prices were wrong (sadly to late to say that now).
Another one for the shortlist is Mr Percy. Looks like he should have more in the bag mind you, based on his last flat run he’d need to certainly have a fair bit more left over. At the price though, i feel he could be on a little interest.
