    Just been the most distressing accident at Ludlow – East Tycoon caught his hind legs on the lip of the water jump. He slid for a distance with his hind legs splayed out behind obviouly a major break – it really was stomach churning. Poor horse RIP – I hope the vet was quickly there. Water jumps are still so leathal and should be removed for all racecourses …

    Just read the post about that poor horse EAST TYCOON. That sounds like a terrible accident, i’m glad i didn’t see it. I’m sure he’ll have been put out of his pain and suffering immediately but it’s such a waste of a lovely creature. RIP EAST TYCOON, sleep well x :(
