Clivex, are you saying that Youmzain is over-priced?

The reason I ask is I’m pretty sure Murtagh never said any such comment. SoF was coming to the end of his run (like Zambezi Sun) when he met with interference.
I’m certainly not complaining what with Youmzain being 3/4 times his price
September 10, 2008 at 17:33 #180356Quite possibly. And like Salselon, 3/4 the price seems excessive
The Channon factor nags away at me. Much as hes a likeable bloke, always touch and go whether his will run to their best on any given day
But given the ground and reasonable vibes nearer the time….
September 10, 2008 at 18:08 #180364Probably we will never hear another word from Murtagh after his comments about the Juddemonte affair. But if the Duke does not run in the Arc,he will probably have to choose from the Ballydoyle entries.Remember that he did choose Alessandro Volta for the Irish Derby so he could be worth an each way in the Leger.
September 10, 2008 at 18:18 #180368I backed the soldier in the Arc last year and I thought he was beaten fair and square. He has to carry more weight this year and i’m not convinced he’s improved 10-12lbs in the interim.
I don’t think he’ll win unless it’s very soft. Then i’d give him a chance.
