After his magnificent run in the Breeders Cup REBELS ROMANCE is my Nap to win this..He powered home to win from an impossible position and James Doyle rightly keeps the ride.
Come on Rebels Romance

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 25, 2023 at 07:37 #1641267Big fan of this one Jac. Really fancied him and the Doyler to get it done in the USA.
Appleby glowing about him albeit he had enough of a setback for Charlie not to rush him into a prep on Super Saturday. With this Equinox he faces his strongest test yet and stall 10 doesn’t help but The draw won’t be an excuse. He was 10/1 earlier in the week, I missed that so have decided not to back anything.
Equinox could be on a whole other level to these.
March 25, 2023 at 08:25 #1641274He’s a fabulous horse isn’t he Chivers and if any horse can beat the mighty Equinox it’s himself.
I did manage to get the 10’s early doors so happy with that but I also backed Algiers for the World Cup at 11/4 so lost out a bit on him. However it will still be a nice double if it comes in.Best of luck with your bets at Meydan today and hope you manage to change your 3 horses in Kryptons Select 3 Horses competition as sadly Meydan and all International racing isn’t valid.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 25, 2023 at 11:18 #1641307I like him too
Backed him e/w @ 8/1 a few days ago
Buick is in the saddle not James Doyle who has no ride in this race
Expecting a good run for my money
March 25, 2023 at 16:07 #1641395That was disappointing from Rebels Romance.
Equinox a real champion he was amazing today. Godolphin have been left high and dry by the Japanese with no winners.

He certainly was. That was seriously impressive.
March 25, 2023 at 16:19 #1641405Thought Westover ran really well considering he was borderline boiling over before the start and pulled very hard early on – winner supreme and broke the track record by 1.00s being eased down.
Assuming Arc will be the goal but one question looking at his form, all runs on good to firm ground so will need to prove he can handle something a lot softer at Longchamp.

Incredible. It is not often you see a horse win a Group 1 without coming out of second gear but he has just done it. Looked like he had loads left even if something had been able to mount a challenge.
March 25, 2023 at 16:39 #1641416Yes but come on … the going is fast. It’s plain obvious that sectionals are going to be off the scale.
Now imagine if Frankel would have raced on ‘fast’ going
March 25, 2023 at 16:40 #1641418Two turf track records (Broome in the Gold Cup was the other, he was 1.87s faster than standard) would suggest firm ground or at the very least good to firm rather than the good being shown on RP website, only two of the four turf races have been slower than standard but that was only by 0.11s (Danyah) and 0.29s (Lord North).
March 26, 2023 at 08:00 #1641497That brought back memories of shergar with the white face. Magnificent looking animal and I hope he will win the arc for the Japanese.
March 26, 2023 at 11:22 #1641524Saw this on twitter:
“Equinox’s sire Kitasan Black a seven-time G1 winner from 1m2f to 2m; Ushba Tesoro’s sire Orfevre a six-time G1 winner from 1m2f to 1m7f; the great Deep Impact a seven-time G1 winner from 1m2f to 2m.”
So why are so many breeders obsessed with speed?
March 26, 2023 at 11:34 #1641525I think the answer is that, in Japan, they aren’t.
But then Japan have no fear of Firm ground, nearly every race is run at a commendably kamikaze early pace, you really have to stay the trip to win and, best of all, there’s sushi!
Just get me there now!
