I don’t know, Mr W. I mean he did get hammered here before on appearance at Nad, but because something happens once, it doesn’t mean it will be part of a future trend. They want us to punt on these races, but they don’t want to tell us anything. Perhaps it will need the run. It’s not the toughest of races all the same.

Interestingly, Shaweel, also ex-Johnston, is the forecast second favourite but I’m almost certain the 2009 Gimcrack winner wouldn’t have been in McCartney’s league back in the day.
