The Cadeaux Genereux was a bad blow for the bloodstock agent Geoffrey Howson who bought it last year and for consignors Forest Stud because it had cost 27,000gns as a foal and couldn’t make any more than 11,000 this week!

Well played Irsheyez – clear winner and nearest on both lots.
I enjoyed that (despite the bad luck with 4 of them being withdrawn/not sold, etc) and plan to run another one for the Tatts October sale. I think we might go for 10 selections that time though to give us some cover. I’ve had a quick scan over the catalogue for that and there are some choice lots so it should be good fun. <br>
