Trump and Johnson simultaneously in power was a new low point for the planet.

I’m not pointlessly vengeful, so have no desire to dwell on their joint falls from grace, but wow am I glad to see the back of them both?!

Since Biden has come into power, I think we’re closer to WW3 than ever.

Trump is, in a way, close in spirit to John Mccririck … comes out with some comical, outrageous things but isn’t afraid to fight his corner. I’ll be honest, I like Trump. There seems to be a method to his madness when he squares up to other world leaders

Actually Ghost, I thought we were closer to WW3 with Trump as president, and unless this federal case stops him from running as president, the is a slim possibility he could be again in the White House. Biden may not be perfect but he’s better than Trump.

Also with Putin in power in Russia WW3 seems closer than we think.

I can clearly see where you’re coming from Red Rum 77. There’s no doubt whatsoever that Putin is a live threat to the world but he’s being backed into a corner with the growing unity of NATO eating at him. It’s his own fault but one that he’ll never confess to and/or regret because he’s a psychopath.
I feel that Trump is potty enough to come up with something completely off-the-wall that could ease the tension.

The biggest threat to the world IMO (bar a huge comet or Yellowstone) is North Korea. There’s something bubbling horribly under the surface with cunning use of technology.

North Korea are a fly that will be swatted if required , all eyes need to be in Putin , Ukraine will not surrender and Putin will keep throwing young Russians to there death , only the Russians can bring Putin down

He now faces federal charges of espionage. As always he playing the same song of Billy Joel “An Innocent Man” but they must have a strong case against him. He’s to be arrested on Tuesday.

They apparently don’t stop him campaigning for President, so the is a chance he could be a convict and President at the same time.

Donald Trump, a friend and ally of Putin.
For all his faults, he was the only leader who talked to all of his rivals, and maybe by now the war would have been over and less people may have died.
    Who knows.
But what we have right now is just death and more death.

Trump as told the court he didn’t have time to return the stolen documents …. so he,s basically admitted stealing them , he,s not exactly making it hard for the prosecuting lawyers , he,s so far from reality he know thinks he’s untouchable

It appears that Trump could be stopped from becoming the a future president by the 14th ammendment, which was written during the American civil war to stop confederate becoming president. It all depends on their high courts.

Over here I am a Conservative, but if living in the USA I’d be democrat.
Republicans are far too right wing for me.

And as for Trump… No matter what my politics are – he is unworthy of the office of President, trying to keep power is undemocratic.
Not sure about the other cases but the latest “arrest” may do for him, “find me 11.000 votes” is pretty blatant… And unlike the other cases he can’t pardon himself if becoming President again.

I’ve said before, it would not surprise me if he’s influenced by Russia / Putin or even not beyond comprehension a blackmailed “spy”.
Considering all the top secret stuff he’s allegedly already kept and vocally divulged… If he were to become President again I wouldn’t be happy with our government divulging British secrets to the USA.

Trouble with USA politics is the Democrat Biden appears too old for a first term, let alone a second.
American TV News is so biased – Fox News Republican, the rest Democrat. One side doesn’t believe anything the other channel says.

Hope Mrs Obama reconsiders standing.

    Fair point HDLG.
    Isn’t Biden a senile Obama 2.0 anyway?
If nobody else can come out of those shadows I’d much rather Mrs Obama than Biden or Trump.

“What did Obama actually achieve , yes a safe pair of hands but little else”

Grounded you’re missing his main unmistakable predominant feature which sticks out a mile 😕 his god-damned audience enrapturing smile 😁 and if only he’d had Reagan’s eyebrows and cowhand acting experience he’d have had the whole package.

A smile can do a lot in a dreary godforsaken world. Reagan changed not only Maggie’s perception and the iron lady was seen to wilt.in his presence. He also affected the ordinaries…

” In 1987 I was a 19 year old college student on $200 a month and half of that went to rent a ratty little studio apartment.
President Reagan inspired me to make something of myself..
His message of exceptionalism led me to up sticks take a new view on life and rent the vacant lot next door ‘
