Here is a little story for Cheltenham fans.
I was at the doctors today and as always they were running late and so I browsed through a free local magazine, you must know the sort of thing, we all have at least one.
Then I saw a headline ON THE TURF with CHARLES JOYCE, don’t ask because I do not know of a Charles Joyce but as quietly as possible I gently tore the page out and a slyly and quietly as possible pocketed it. Only now I realise it extended over 2 pages and so I only have half [or part] of the information, because it is not what I expected to find amid the local gossip regarding Snowdrops, Round Table info and school activities etc.
Mr Joyce knows his subject very well and went into too much detail for a KISS specialist like myself, however he points out that a certain Gordon Elliott had only 3 winners last year from 45 runners at the festival but did boast to the reader as simple system which found 2 of the 3 winners via just 2 selections.
Irish bred runners in Handicap Hurdles that ran in a non-handicap in their last race and have won at least one of their last 3 races.
I am so out of touch with this season NH and although I will be a watcher and not a player I hope this may interest someone.
