I was looking at lusail for this race but no bet yet

If its decent ground I was thinking point Lonsdale and reach for the moon could be vulnerable to a speedier type

And lusail is proven over 7f at the track but also has the speed for 6

He looked pretty slow in the Chesham coming off the bridle way out then staying on strongly

Couldve got faster since but having run in two mickey mouse races since its hard to know

It appears it is more than you who has noticed this FF, as top sire (but a large stamina influence) Frankel only has one entry even at this relatively early stage. A Juddmonte homebred who won his maiden over a mile, so is doubtful to line up.

    It’s a myth that it’s a stiff 7f in the Dewhurst.

They race gently downhill for most of it and only the final furlong is on the rise.

If Point Lonsdale wins it I will have to revise my opinion of him, but right now (and in the interests of annoying Nathan) I’m going to declare he’s a slow old boat who has to lead to win his races because he’s got about as much of a turn or foot as I have.

There’s got to be a quicker 2yo, with a miler pedigree, out there than “Pointless,” a horse seemingly named after a particularly lousy Sports Direct range, hasn’t there?

If Point Lonsdale is a slow boat it seems his rivals have dropped anchor. Any thing making its debut now post August must be slow or backward

Not sure what to make of PL and 7F at Newmarket on decent ground will seem him probably having to do his own donkey work again trying to put the emphasis more on stamina but that could leave him vunerable to a speedier type that could do him for a bit of toe going down into the dip.

Being a full brother to Broome, I would have thought the Futurity at Doncaster over a straight flat mile would have been much more his cup of tea so it will be interesting to see how he handles Newmarket’s undulations.

    A pleasing response.

I maintain old Pointless has about as much chance of winning the Dewhurst as a teenager has of landing the job of Pope after rocking up for his interview at The Vatican wearing the full Lonsdale sportswear range.

Point Lonsdale will go down as one of the greatest horses of all time. Only a fool takes him on.

The champ is racing in the National Stakes at the Curragh anyway. I wouldn’t assume he will run here.

Plenty have run in both over the years.

Plenty also haven’t ran in both over the years hence why you shouldn’t make an assumption he will run here.

National Stakes hack up first then assess the situation. #teampointandshoot

You won’t be getting 3/1 after the National Stakes
    will be 1/1 tops.

Hannon’s record in this race would be a little bit of a worry.
O’Brien on the other hand has taken it 6 times in the previous 11 including 5 in the last 8

Obreins cupboard looks pretty bear atm

Other than point Lonsdale he hasn’t got any top 2yos

The cynic in me isn’t suprised that coincides with bolgers accusations floating around
