    Italy 12-1 ew
He’s a bit of a header and might lose the plot entirely on the wide expanse of the Rowley mile but he’s got talent and finished well last time despite wasting energy. If he gets into a rhythm he could easily make the three.

If Zaverti was trained by Obrien you’ve be talking around evens , can anyone see a reason for Gstaad reversing the form , I can’t so I’ll gladly play

    I love the Dewhurst.

I think Gstaad will reverse the form with Zavateri but without huge conviction.
Distant Storm could progress again but I think Gstaad is solid and Distant Storm will definitely need to find a bit (possible of course).

Four of the last five winners of the race have gone on to classic success the following season and the history of the event is littered with Guineas and Derby winners so this race is always an exciting moment in the season for me.

Zavateri is a false silly price , I’ll be honest I’m more concerned with Distant storm than Gstaad , Zavateris attitude is backed up with talent

Gstaad and Zvateri are evenly matched on recent evidence but the 5-1 bog on offer for the latter looked too good to not have a go at ew, I didn’t think I was going to have a bet in the race. Bit surprised about Distance Storm being at the head of the market, he could’ve gone to the National Stakes but took the easier option of the Tattersalls. He won well but it was only a group 3. Tattersalls winners going to win the Dewhurst didn’t notice any in recent years having had a quick look. Not saying he can’t win but has to find some improvement imo.

Seeing as it looks like Whirl is done flr the season,

This will likely be my last play for the season,

5/1 Zavateri e/w for a fair old chunk, will finish the season nicely either way but why on earth isnt he the 2/1 fav win or lose, as someone mentioned above, if Zavateri was trained by obrien, who would soumi be on? It’d be Zavateri…. The difference in price is extremely strange, back on home soil, theres nothing not to like, trainer/jockey combo is dictating the price rather than the horse/form

Gstaad may feel the ground more on this undulating course so I’ll go with Distant Storm in the duel

All I can add to this is that when I first got into racing I thought this was sponsored by Dewhurst Butchers
