Well done Krypton Factor!
I managed to move above my normal Reading FC style ‘mid table safety’ position. Derby was the ultimate conundrum, I had a maiden winner going into it but mine came last rather than first!
I wasn’t sure about the Power Play but managed to take advantage with a 1-2 in the last race so, being totally biased, I’m all for it! 2 selections per race is a decent format to go forward with.
Last, but certainly not least, thanks Nathan for running the competition. These things don’t just happen, they take a fair effort and you put in the ‘hard yards’ on a regular basis to keep us happy.
July 5, 2020 at 13:10 #1492889Well done Krypton I thought BigG had it with Sky Defender 22/1 but the Power Play sorted it in the end.
an interesting twist to our competitions Nathan and thank you for doing this. Also congrats to our Graham 2nd & Euro in 3rd position.
JacNote to myself..
Next time put all your reserves in and throw out the rest..4 winning reserves yesterday including Serpentine.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 5, 2020 at 13:15 #1492890Well done Krypton,
what a great score & Graham so close in second. I’m not sure how I managed to sneak into 3rd.
Nathan thanks again for running this contest! It’s always a lot of fun.
This has to go down as one of the strangest Derby results of all time. The way he won reminds me a little of Slip Anchor in 1985. Love was a very worthy winner of the Oaks. I’m looking forward to seeing her run again and win some big races.
