    12 races on the All Weather, 10.20am to 4pm including a Listed event that Michael Jarvis sent Red Dune over to compete in.

    1 day a year they do this. That is it.

    None of the top jockeys turn up, the listed race was ‘ok’ and I believe it was won by Without A Prayer last year at 64/1?

    Wasn’t it free entry at Fairyhouse yesterday? Incredible given the quality of the card and far more meritorious than an ‘iffy’ twelve race card on the Deauville sand.

    Not sure which the other 4 are but there’s only 8 listed on France Galop – for the record there are also listed races on 9th and 10th December and 3rd January (last meeting listed is 9th January).

    and also for the record, aswell as yesterday, there will be 12 race cards at Deauville on Dec 9 10 18 19 23 24 29 30 Jan 3 4 8 9.

    On a quick look through, the least valuable race I could find was a claimer with £14,500 (approx) in added money.
