Bets for WGC HSBC Championship
RICKIE FOWLER 20/1
Rickie was very close to winning this event last year but just failed to clinch it.This year form has been brilliant winning the players and Scottish open were big wins it showed that with 4holes to go he was 8under if you combine those figures.Fowler enjoys Asia to think he can end season in style.
RORY Mcllroy 6/1
Biggest danger to Rickie is Rory in Turkey played well in 3rounds but though not fire on sunday there still enough there to suggest he win very soon.Big hitting game suits this course very well if he can hole some putts Rory can win this
DUSTIN JOHNSON 18/1
DJ won here in 2013 way to win here is par 5 scoring and DJ is one of the best he destroys the par fives at Augusta and a course winner here in 2013 he can go close here.
BRANDEN GRACE 40/1
Grace had great year so far in 2015 and on final day at Cimb classic had a decent round that should mean he start off well here.He not had great course form here but can say he not been in better form in is carear than now.
BYEOUNG HUN AN 80/1
Not look like winning turkish open until weekend rounds they were two brilliant rounds by him and he won in Asia a few months ago a big step up in grade but over the next 12months he be mixing with the elite on tour.
November 3, 2015 at 13:26 #1220229BigG my spy told me you chuck the cat out of window after that 1st round by Piercy good job i not live near you chuck my tv out you would have.Unlucky there mate any bets this week
November 5, 2015 at 01:10 #1220403Hi Darren, if I had a cat it would have needed it’s 9 lives for sure :)
In the HSBC Championship I’m looking for someone who could hit a low
score in the first round, and also have the bottle to see it through
to the end of the tournament. With that in mind I’ve gone for
two big hitters, one being your man DUSTIN JOHNSON at 18/1 and
BUBBA WATSON at 16/1.I’ve also taken both in the 1st round betting, both at 22/1 with
Betvictor.I’m still working on the Sanderson Farms tournament in the US. I’ll
get back to you on that one before the off.Best of luck with yours.
November 5, 2015 at 20:40 #1220461Hi Darren, I said I would get back to you with my bet in
the Sanderson Farms tournament.I got my bet on 3 mins before the off, with Paddy Power
who were paying 1st 7 places. I had to rush off after that.
I bet Martin Laird e/w.I hate updating this when the round is in progress,
I’ve just checked and he is doing quite well
(5 under at the 9th). It always looks suspicious when
someone states what bet they have, and they
are already doing very well. Just so you know I’m not
playing funny buggers, I’ll copy my bet from PP below……..Selection Selection Details Result

Total ReturnsThe only thing I’m worried about now, is that I often bet for
1st round leader, but as I was in a hurry I’ve just bet him for
the tournament. T’m almost willing him not to get past the current
leader (Aaron baddeley at 8 under) which is a bit stupid I know, but
I’ll feel I’ve missed out if he does lead.He probably won’t so I should just be happy he is doing well at this stage.
Good luck
November 6, 2015 at 11:47 #1220491Here my ante post bets for majors in golf for 2016
BUBBA WATSON 16/1 To win masters
Bubba is like Man city winning the league when it comes to the masters win it then lose it win it then lose it.He finds it hard to defend title because all the things that goes with being a champion at Augusta. But no doubt how much he loves the place. Also play very well this year and next year can be a even better year.
JASON DAY 12/1 To win US Open
When you think Day has been in the top 5 for last 5 years in US open it is amazing he still a double figure price having got that monkey off his back by getting that 1st major no doubt in my mind he can land more think he win this one.
BRANDEN GRACE 66/1 To win the open championship
For me this is way to big on a player who is heading for the top ten when the open comes around and he in the top 15 at least he not be this price.Best ever year by him also players from South Africa do well in opens. Oosthuizein and Els are open winners.Grace can add his name to that list
RICKIE FOWLER 25/1 To win USPG Championship
Be playing this major at a new course but Fowler has already had a pratice round there so is getting used to the course which can give him a small edge when it comes around. For me Rickie can have a Jason Day type year in 2016 winning more titles and that 1st major
Also when the majors come closer i add more players to my bets to. Any thoughts BigG
November 6, 2015 at 12:08 #1220493I needn’t have worried about MARTIN LAIRD being 1st round leader,
although he did get to 6 under par at the 12th, two off the lead,
but then had 2 double bogeys
He’s now 7 off the lead and not looking the likeliest winner
at this point.Good luck with your anti post bets Darren, if I get round to
having any, I’ll let you know.November 10, 2015 at 11:39 #1220991Big g you see DJ on sunday and that par 5 he was on ball hit flagpole rolls into water for double bogey gutted i was.
Bets for BMW Masters are here other event no prices yet.
SERGIO GARCIA 25/1
Since he come back from break Sergio has played well in Cimb classic and Shenzan last week. Was at times only a few shots off the lead. But not keep it up.In form he is can win this week.
PATRICK REED 16/1
Making debut here but that not a worry has been in form over the last month and his short game at the moment is wonderfull. On a course that suit him think he do very well.
EMILLIANO GRILLO 45/1
Was 8th here on course debut last year.Since then improved a lot won on Web.com tour and also won Frys.com as well.He got more belif in his game with those two wins and now not fear anyone here.
DANNY WILLET 20/1
Ended last week with a course record at Shezaan with Rory not playing this week a great chance he got to be top of Race to dubai list.He playing very well hard to leave him out.
PETER UIHLEIN 40/1
Was 5th here in 2013 and big hitter is very well suited to this course where you hit it long. Not only that but he play well at Turkish Open but faded on last day.So he another for the list here.
November 13, 2015 at 00:47 #1221445Hi Darren, sometimes the Golfing Gods are just not smiling on you. DJ’s
disaster on Sunday, at a crucial time, must have made you pig sick.
It’s no consolation to you that I was equally gutted, I had him and
Bubba.I didn’t have much luck in the Sanderson Farms tournament either.
I had MARTIN LAIRD who got to 6 under, 2 off the lead after 12
holes, and then he simply collapsed and didn’t even make the cut !!!!I missed the start of the BMW Masters in China, but after the first
round I’m having a couple of bets. I have bet Martin Kaymer, who is
3 under after the 1st round. That puts him 5 off the lead but his
odds are out to 50/1.I’m having a bit of a crazy punt also, on my old friend David Horsey.
who is currently 2 under. It’s probably a forlorn hope, but I couldn’t
resist having a few quid e/w with Betvictor, who are 500/1. He will
need three good rounds to have a chance, but he is capable if doesn’t
collapse, which he is also capable of.Best of luck this week Darren, your man Garcia is off to a flying start
November 15, 2015 at 13:32 #1221829Darren……gutted for you mate. Sergio let you down badly
in the final round, I thought he was the likeliest winner
before the final round, I took some 9/2.A great round by Reed, but just missed out in the playoff.
You are having so many near things, but you are constantly
picking out guys that are right there at the death. You
can’t do much more, hope you have better luck next week.November 17, 2015 at 14:10 #1222032Bets this week are in european tour and America start with DP Tour championship bets
RORY MCLIROY 5/1
Be fresh after missing last week also won here in 2012 was 2nd last year and a course that Rory loves as well think he return to winning ways this week.
JUSTIN ROSE 8/1
Very hard to pass over Stenson who winner here last two years but give edge to Rose has great course form over last 3 years. And play ok last week at BMW Masters only 2shots off lead he was. Also he got a new driver that is giving his tee shots more distance which suit this course.
VICTOR DUBUSSION 25/1
Won Turkish open again but showed up well here last two years and bombers love it here and he is full of beans after win in Turkey.
Rafa Cabera bello 125/1
Last year was on him at 125/1 look like winning but faded badly he won dubai desert classic and loves these dubai layouts think the bookies are mad to have him at a 3 figure price.

November 17, 2015 at 14:22 #1222034RSM CLASSIC
KEVIN KISNER 22/1
Lost 3 playoffs this year was 2nd to Knox in WGC event in Asia was 4th here last year that course form is imporant and think he go very well.
PATRICK RODGERS 25/1
He along with Kisner probaly best maiden on tour this young lion has played well this season and can take a shine to this course as well think he do well.
BRANDT SNEDECKER 40/1
To big a price he is this is a links style course and sneds has decent form at the open and pebble beach is links like to.He be fresh here and can be there at the weekend.
DAVID LINGMERTH 66/1
He showed at the open 6under after 8holes but faded after that while this at end of the year i feel this young sweede can play well this week.
TYRONE VAN ASWEGAN 200/1
Been impressed by him this season could got into a playoff at frys.com and is starting to play well always had the talent and now maybe while big names be tired at end of season he could sneak a place.
Sorry for double post
And BigG any views and was gutted last week when Reed made that bunker shot to go into lead thought he won it there was gutted
November 18, 2015 at 15:29 #1222155Will have bets on Dunlop Phoneix ope had good record here on Donald in 2012 and Matsuyama last year.
DANNY LEE 16/1
Making debut at course but even he from New Zealand he love playing here in Asia and has stacks of good form this year where he broke out.And can end season on a high.
HIDIHETIO TANIHARA 22/1
Won PGM championship in asia was 17th last week but can get back to winning ways here.
MATTEO MANNASERO 125/1
Won in Asia before this layout he love because unlike other courses in Asia this not suited to big hitters. And double M can find form sooner rather than later.
November 19, 2015 at 01:19 #1222251I bet you were gutted with Reed Darren, as I commented
a few posts back. You have had some near things of late,
lets hope for some luck this week.In the DP Championship, my idea of the winner in HENRIK
STENSON. He loves the course and is in decent form, finishing
3rd in BMW Masters last week and 3 top ten finishes in his
last six starts. The thing is, I hate taking single figure odds at the start of
a tournament. I normally find that there is a little waver at
some point during the tournament, and his odds lengthen a bit.
He’s 11/2 but I’m going to chance watching him and try and get
better odds in running. I’m going to feel a bit of an idiot if
he gets off to a cracking start and leads from pillar to post
but that’s a chance I’ll take.Instead I’m taking BRANDEN GRACE. He’s always looked a really
good player in the making, winning both at the tail end of
last year and the beginning of this. He looked solid
finishing 3rd in the US PGA a couple of months back and
more recently when finishing 5th in the HSBC last month.I’ve taken him at 22/1 for the tournament, but also at 28/1
for the 1st round leader (1/4 odds 1st 5)Better luck this week mate
November 19, 2015 at 16:27 #1222309I just managed to get on before the RSM CLASSIC started, I didn’t want
to miss the 7 places offered by PADDY POWER.I’m not sure of my pick, it was a bit of last minute desperation, but
I’ve stuck an e/w on SCOTT BROWN at 66/1, I could have got 80/1
elsewhere but I was prepared to lose a few points for the e/w 7 places.
He is inconsistent at best but did well in the OHL CLASSIC last week,
shooting four rounds in the 60s to finish 5th.I think there could be a shock result in this as other than Zach Johnson,
and maybe Kevin Kisner, the rest tend to be cannon fodder in the normal
PGA tournaments. The tournament has started now, Brown is all square through 4 holes.
November 23, 2015 at 11:23 #1222895BigG both of my main bets won Rory and Kisner though was yelling at tv when rory went in water at 17th.Happy he made that bogey putt to stay in lead. While Kisner was different class to rest of field
November 23, 2015 at 14:41 #1222925Well done Darren, Kisner led from pillar to post and never looked
like being caught. I mentioned before the start that other than
Zac Johnson and Kevin Kisner, the rest were cannon fodder. I wish
I had just bet them.I can imagine how you felt when McIlroy stuck it in the water at
17, but it showed his class when he rolled in that long putt for
a bogey.I had Brandon Grace e/w in the DP championship, so I covered any
losses from the 2 tournaments, but not much more. You have been unlucky in many tournaments of late, you deserve to
have a couple of good wins
