sariska has the st leger written all over her
for me she lacks that arc winner turn of footAugust 21, 2009 at 00:30 #245035Not blood, Fist…no one would keep mares if that happened. I bet if she’d been in a race with colts as well it would have been more obvious. What i was thinking to myself before the race was why this doesn’t happen more often…do fillies and mares that are in hard work not come into season quite so often? I used to think it was like dogs; a couple,of times a year until I realised it was every few weeks.
August 21, 2009 at 01:16 #245043Everywhere you turn it sems like 3 year olds are getting stuffed and the older horses are coming out on top. Withe Sariska getting stuffed you would have to wonder if these fillies are just a bad lot.
Not really accurate.
Sea The Stars and Rip Van Winkle were actually horses that did stuff the opposition against some top class opposition like Conduit and Paco Boy who are very strong G1 horses.
Finjaan also beat the older horses in Balthazaar Gift and Regal Parade who went on to frank the form finishing 1st and 2nd next time out.
Jukebox Jury beat some very useful older horses like Duncan and Campanologist with the former doing very well in the Coronation Cup and he isn’t one of the best 3 year old middle distance horses.
Amour Propre stuffed the older sprinters at his first attempt.
Yorkshire Oaks, time was poor for the ground, Sariska is overrated and was only superior due to very soft ground she hardly got stuffed here though 3/4l isnt a margin where you can say Dar Re Me stuffed her.
August 21, 2009 at 03:35 #245069I think these deluded sariska fans have forgotten to realise there is a special soft ground horse who sariska can’t touch namely stacelita?
Am glad da re mi won today because stacelita probably will be a backable price in the vermeille.August 21, 2009 at 14:58 #245124Well deserved Group 1 on English soil for Dar Re Mi. Never been convinced she is straight out of the top draw and has benefitted from Sariska’s obvious shortcomings on the firmer ground + the horrendous yard form.
She will hold her own at Santa Anita.
August 21, 2009 at 17:57 #245159heavy ground arc sariska walks it its as simpleas that
August 21, 2009 at 18:05 #245161none ov michael bells horses are finishing there race secret society being an excellent example just then they seem to be all travelling but not finishing defo something wrong with the horses
August 21, 2009 at 18:19 #245163HAHA i’d love to see her walk it against Stacelita on heavy Lets put a rocket behind her she might win the arc then
