    I bought the book last week but haven’t started it yet. I live about two miles away from the allotment in question so have always loved this story. Is the Netflix film worth a watch?

    Thanks for mentioning this was on Netflix vf; I watched it last night. One of the most enjoyable racing documentaries I’ve seen. It really emphasised what an unlikely story Dream Alliance’s success was. Jan Vokes comes across as quite a force of nature.

    Will be interesting to see how it compares to the fictionalised film version which I’ve not seen yet either.
