    Must say I enjoyed last night’s racing, although the continuous references to the "World Championship" by the Yanks does grate after a couple of mentions (I would gladly lose a limb just to see Curlin stuffed tonight for example).

    While the World Championship thing is over played, it still has runners from America, a few south American countries, GB, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan etc.

    I thoroughly enjoyed last night…..fantastic racetrack and conditions.

    A good (i.e I agree with most of it) article by Zorro in the RP today, where he notes, and bemoans the fact, that racing is one of the few sports where fans tend to be more interested in low-grade local fare than in international champions and championships.
